Aquant is coming!
Pumps, inlet distribution and outflow drainage are completely premounted. The base is placed by crane on the prepared, compressed base of the excavation. (With the dsm plants, before the dsm module can be installed, geotextile and prefabricated foil is spread in the excavation).

Step by step
Bringing in different layers of gravel and sand takes place according to the level scale, which is attached to the base.

Connection found
The inflow and outflow pipes and the electrical supply and control cables are connected, then additional filling with sand and gravel takes place.

The last step
The premounted inlet distribution system is attached and covered with gravel. To finish off, the supplied reed plants (5 plants per square meter) are planted and the job is done!

Excavation finished – Go!
The construction of a conventional plant-based purification system requires a lot of planning and expendi-ture. AQUANT however offers industrially manufactured compact systems, which are extensively and individually tested. For AQUANT ibs you only need a relatively small excavation, while the AQUANT dsm systems requires a larger space to accommodate the required slope angle. With normal soil conditions it is sufficient to line the base of the excavation evenly with sand and to compress it.

From work straight to the excavation
Thanks to modern logistics and to facilitate the best cost-saving AQUANT plants are supplied directly to the builder-owner in good time and without the need for temporary warehouse facilities. Where possible, the manufacturer also takes over mounting in the excavation, so that on-site no additional lifting equipment is needed.

AQUANT comes premounted
Normally the supply of a plant-based purification system would consist of assorted foils, pipes, sets of shaft components, pumps, loose cables and all kinds of assembly material. An AQUANT ibs plant how-ever is delivered complete and ready to be fixed into its excavation: With the base from plastic (50 mm thick PP hollow comb recycling material) in a static and very stable construction, the input and outflow shafts are already integrated and all necessary accessories are pre-mounted and installed. Neither of the construction company nor of the builder special tools or special knowledge in the building of plant-based purification systems are required. With the AQUANT dsm systems all the technology is likewise pre-mounted in the shaft modules. Additionally, the geotextile, the prefabricated foil and the premounted inlet distribution system is delivered orderly packed onto pallets.

Easy installation
The installation of our plants is easy to understand. It does not matter whether it is a do-it-yourself installation or an installation by a construction firm: There are no hidden costs! If you require an offer for the installation, it is best to give the construction firm a complete set of our documentation. We will also be happy to arrange installation for you. The installation of smaller plants can be achieved by two or three workers in a few hours.
AQUANT-ibs-, gws- and idbs-System: Set the base in the excavated site.
AQUANT-dsm-System: Unfold the geotextile and prefabricated foil and line the inside of the excavation with these. Align the module in the excavation and with the connecting tubes provided attach it to the foil flanges.
all: Gradually fill with sand and gravel following our guidelines (and in the order evident from the indicator scale attached to the base!), connect the sewage pipes and electrical cables, and finally plant the surface with the reed plants provided.

The builder-owner can help with construction
Despite the fact that a plant-based purification system is something that only specialized companies can offer, with an AQUANT system this technology can now be offered by building companies that are not highly specialized in this area. And the builder-owner can make additional savings: AQUANT systems are so simple to install that a layman with some basic manual skills can do his own installation.

Cheaper in the long term
AQUANT systems are extremely cost-effective not only in planning and purchasing but also in daily running expenses. Because the system is supplied ready-assembled, problems that can occur when parts, ordered separately, are not delivered on time can be virtually eliminated. AQUANT provides a 15-year warranty on the base. The pumps are low-maintenance and use very little energy (approx. EUR 5,– per year with a AQUANT plant for 4 inhabitants). AQUANT offers both favourable service contracts and inexpensive maintenance when the warranty period expires.
